In 2015, Humboldt State University’s Geology Department celebrated their 50th anniversary. They commissioned me to make a design to commemorate this accomplishment and print on t-shirts, bumper sticks, and/or mugs.
I created three designs in Adobe Photoshop for their consideration, themed around the geological concepts of rocks, fault lines, and seismographs that used their school colors of green and gold.
After being voted on by the department, they asked for a few adjustments to the chosen design for clarity when reading and resizing for printing.
